Bank Establishment
Iraqi Islamic Bank for Investment and Development was established on December 19, 1992, and began its operations with full authorization from the Central Bank of Iraq on February 23, 1993. Since then, the bank has been actively participating in the economic development and growth of the country.
Iraqi Islamic Bank leads the forefront of banks in Iraq, being the first Islamic bank operating according to Islamic Sharia principles and regulations. It has distinguished itself by innovating and developing banking transactions in line with the country's economic reality.
